At Kids & Company, we foster growth in the Kidco Way; creating a culture of kindness, innovation, diversity, courage and optimism. We rely heavily on these values to guide our decision-making, our problem-solving and the way we treat our employees, families and partners.
Be thoughtful, listen and understand.
Embrace imagination, resourcefulness and continuous learning.
Respect, embrace and celebrate our differences.
Be bold, brave and speak up for what you believe in.
Look at challenges with an open mind to possibilities.
We take the role of nurturing and developing the minds, bodies and spirits of children seriously. We follow an emergent curriculum philosophy, which means our teachers are trained to facilitate learning opportunities and spark discovery. We demonstrate curiosity and excitement about the world around us by approaching the world according to the values of The Kidco Way.
Formerly our Random Acts of Kindness program, Kids & Company recognizes its staff who go above and beyond to exemplify our Kidco Way values in their own way. We encourage parents, employees and partners touched by the acts of a Kids & Company staff member to shout out the ways they were kind, innovative, diverse, courageous or optimistic.
Nominated by a Parent: Alice has helped my daughter adjust to daycare. This was her first experience at any daycare and Alice made it feel like a home from the start. I can rest easy when dropping off my daughter and Alice is in the room. She has gone above and beyond her duties for my daughter and I’m sure I can say the same for the others in my daughter’s class!Close

Nominated by a Parent: Through the entire pandemic my husband and I have not once felt uneasy. Natasha and Kayla, directors, have been so proactive in informing us of everything. The teachers took extra time to call us for updates and milestones. My children are happier on day care days. From a parent perspective to feel no sense of unease, never having to think about the kids or worry during a pandemic has been a godsend. They deserve recognition as a team. We are forever kids and co-family.Close
“Those are the words that really speak to who we are as an organization.”
In 2020, during the global pandemic, Kids & Company paused to collaborate across teams on the ‘why’ and ‘how’ we do what we do. With a firm belief that children are the future, we aim to impact their present. And our approach is guided heavily by the values of being kind, innovative, diverse, courageous and optimistic.
