The “Kidco Standard” – COVID-19 Health & Safety Procedures
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Kids & Company has put together health and safety protocols based on guidelines from Public Health. Kids & Company has chosen to adopt stringent protocols in all regions where centers are operated. This has been done to protect our families, employees, and children.
The following outlines our “Kidco Standard” — protocols that are practiced across all Kids & Company centers. These baseline protocols are built on with specific regional guidance.
Kids & Company Employee Vaccination Policy
Kids & Company has implemented a Vaccine Policy requiring all employees to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. We have made this choice in order to protect our families and staff, and most importantly, the children in our care who are not eligible for the vaccine.
If a staff member is unvaccinated for any reason, including medical or religious exemption, they are required to undergo Covid-19 testing twice weekly, continue to wear PPE and submit daily health checks, and take other appropriate precautions as required.
An Update on Our Operations Due to COVID-19
Kids & Company Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Policy: Due to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases and in order to keep our staff and families safe, it is now Kids & Company’s policy that all staff must wear a non-medical (cloth) or a disposable medical/surgical mask or face covering while inside the child care center.
Regional Information (Updated January 2021)
